Charisse Roberts is our Documentation Specialist.  She makes certain that our company processes are streamlined and provides quality control over all of your financial documents.  She has been in the business for 3 years continuing to compile payroll, tax return and personal information needed for accurate work. 

When not at Abacus she can be found spending time with her family, home schooling her son and being a proud soccer Mom.  You can find her attending local events and visiting our beautiful beaches. 


Christina E. Mackey is our Accountant and Founder. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Florida Institute of Technology and her Master of Professional Accountancy and Taxation from the University of West Florida. She has over 20 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business tax preparation and operations specializing in retail, wholesale and manufacturing, finance, and service accounting. Her passion is advising and serving her clients to better understand and avoid the hassles of different tax agencies, and to ease anxieties over business accounting processes that can overwhelm small businesses.

Christina enjoys the outdoors especially camping, boating, fishing, and visiting area parks. She and her husband have five children, ranging from preschool to high school, 2 cats, and two dogs which keep them very busy.

Essie Hartman, daughter of a long time client, joined the Abacus team in 2021 as Office Assistant. Essie is a Business Administration undergraduate at the University of Florida, Milton campus. She will happily greet you at office meetings alongside her support dog, Tucker, who welcomes petting and treats.
